Respite Ministry
 Respite is when caring ministers provide relief for families who have a homebound member for 1-2 hours per week.
Trained volunteers provide relief for care givers through companion services to a dependent loved one. Services are available for 1-4 hours weekly between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Volunteers are sympathetic, good listeners who understand the problems of aging and who respect the privacy of both the care giver and the loved one. There is no charge for this service.
Respite is sponsored by the San Antonio Council of Catholic Women.
